Chair of Board of Directors
The chair of directors is responsible for shaping the Primary Eyecare company’s vision and working with the other directors and all stakeholders in respect of the company’s contractual requirements. They act as the public face of the company, bringing objectivity to meetings and decision making and ensure that the company works effectively with stakeholders, such as, NHS England, LOCs, CCGs.
The vice chair of directors is responsible for supporting the chair in shaping the Primary Eyecare company’s vision as above and working with fellow directors and all stakeholders in respect of the company’s contractual requirements.

The finance lead is responsible for the provision of high-quality financial management ensuring the production of relevant, accurate and timely financial advice and supporting information.
The Clinical Governance and Performance Lead is responsible for day to day monitoring of all aspects of service provision and delivery including mobilisation, clinical governance, information governance, auditing and performance monitoring of the service.
This role can be split into Clinical Governance lead and Performance Lead and act as joint main contacts with commissioners.
The Information Governance lead is responsible for maintaining robust information governance processes relevant to the Primary Eyecare Company, ensuring the secure management of information in respect of the company’s legal, risk, ethical and operational requirements.
